Falcon School District 49 is located in Falcon, Colorado, east of Colorado Springs. The district's Early Childhood Centers serve children from age 3 to Kindergarten. Placement is based on a lottery system. Each elementary school has at least one preschool classroom. District 49 offers many educational options, including their International Baccalaureate (IB) programs at the elementary, middle and high school levels. There are programs in which parents work with educators to assess their child’s needs to determine how best to meet them throughout the educational process. There are nine elementary schools, three schools serve grades K-8, one serves K-5; there are three middle schools, one school serves grades 6-10; three high schools and the Patriot Learning Center, a school of choice. |
